Welcome to Udaya Wellness. We are committed to providing you with a relaxing, professional, and rejuvenating massage and holistic treatment experience. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Services
Udaya Wellness provides holistic face massage services aimed at improving relaxation, skin health, and overall well-being. All services offered are designed to complement health practices but are not a substitute for medical treatment or diagnosis
2. Booking & Appointments
Booking: All appointments must be scheduled in advance via phone, email, or our online booking system. Walk-in appointments are subject to availability.
Confirmation: Once your appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation email or message with the details of your session. Please review and ensure the information is correct.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. The full price of the treatment will apply for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment. Your treatment is eligible to be rescheduled once with 24 hour notice. Any exceptions will be made at the practitioners discretion.
No Show: If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice, you will be charged the full cost of the session.
3. Health & Safety
Health Information: Clients are asked to complete an intake form and disclose any health conditions which includes, but is not limited to, allergies, pregnancy, skin conditions, or recent surgeries and general concerns that may affect the facial massage treatment. It is important that you provide accurate and complete information to ensure a safe and effective treatment.
Medical Disclaimer: Our holistic face massage services are designed for relaxation and skin health enhancement. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. If you have any medical concerns, you should consult your healthcare provider before booking a session.
Contraindications: If you have any of the following conditions, you may not be eligible for treatment, or your practitioner may need to modify the approach:
Infectious skin conditions
Severe sunburn or active rashes
Acute or infectious eye conditions
Allergic reactions to products used in treatment
Right to Refuse Service: Our therapists reserve the right to refuse service if they feel that the massage may cause harm to your health, or if you appear intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or disruptive to the session.
4. Payment
Pricing: All services must be paid for prior to the time of the appointment unless other arrangements are made. All prices for massage services and holistic therapies are subject to change. Udaya Wellness will honor the price of the treatment you paid for at the time of booking.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
5. Late Arrival
Late Arrivals: Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened, but you will still be charged the full price of the service. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may be canceled, and a cancellation fee will apply.
6. Massage Etiquette
Modesty: During your massage, you will be appropriately draped with towels or sheets. Only the areas being worked on will be exposed, and your privacy will be respected at all times.
Behavior: We maintain a professional and respectful environment at all times. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate termination of the session, with the full fee charged.
7. Personal Items
Personal Belongings: We recommend that you leave valuables such as jewelry at home, as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items during your visit.
8. Gift Cards & Vouchers
Usage: Gift cards and vouchers must be presented at the time of the appointment. They cannot be exchanged for cash, and they have an expiration date as indicated on the card or voucher.
Non-Refundable: Gift cards and vouchers are non-refundable once purchased.
9. Complaints & Feedback
Quality of Service: Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your service, please inform us immediately after your appointment so we can address the issue and improve our services.
Feedback: We encourage you to share any feedback, positive or constructive, to help us provide you with the best possible experience.
10. Liability
Liability Waiver: By booking a massage, you agree to release Udaya Wellness and its employees from any liability related to your massage session, except where required by law. You understand and accept that massage therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment or diagnosis.
Medical Issues: If you are under the care of a physician or have specific medical concerns, it is advisable to consult with them before receiving massage therapy.
11. Privacy Policy
Confidentiality: All information provided by clients, including health details and contact information, is confidential. We will never share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
12. Changes to Terms & Conditions
Modifications: Udaya Wellness reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via our website or through direct communication with clients.
13. Governing Law
Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction in Lincoln, England.
By booking and attending a massage session at Udaya Wellness, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
